Koti Home Care is a new domiciliary service, but it’s not being built in the usual way. No chasing volume, no overpromising, no chaos disguised as growth. The aim is simple — run a tight, reliable service where care is delivered properly and staff know what they’re doing.

We’re now looking for an Assistant Manager to help make that happen.

This isn’t a “sit next to the manager and learn” job. You’ll be in it. Rotas, staff issues, last-minute changes, making sure calls are actually covered, and stepping in when they’re not. Some days will run smoothly. Some won’t. You need to be comfortable with both.

You’ll be working closely with the Registered Manager, not hiding behind them. If something needs sorting, you sort it. If something’s going wrong, you deal with it early. If a carer needs support, you give it. It’s that kind of role.

You’ll probably already be a Senior Carer, Care Coordinator, or Deputy who’s had enough of watching things drift and wants to be somewhere that’s actually being run properly.

You’ll need to understand how domiciliary care really works — not how it looks on paper. You’ll need to be organised, able to think on your feet, and capable of handling people as well as processes. A driving licence and your own vehicle are essential.

What you’ll get is a chance to be part of something at the point where it’s being shaped. Not a finished service with bad habits baked in — something you can influence while it’s still being built.

If you’re looking for an easy role, this isn’t it.
If you’re looking for one where you can actually make an impact, it probably is.
